iute Group’s growth supported by digitalization and efficiency

News

iute Group, a digital banking group operating in Southeastern Europe, recorded growth in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period a year earlier, while also maintaining a positive financial result. By the end of March, iute had 247,383 active customers. More than 101 thousand customers used payment services, while around 58.5 thousand customers had at least one active insurance policy.

“The first quarter of 2026 was a challenging quarter for the iute group. We continued to balance profitability with investments in technology, automation and geographical expansion, further strengthening iute’s key long-term growth drivers. Revenue growth, improved loan quality and stronger operational efficiency show that our strategy is delivering tangible results. At the same time, we continued to build the foundations for sustainable digital banking services and the further expansion of the Myiute Super App ecosystem in all our markets,” said Tarmo Sild, CEO of iute Group. According to Sild, investments in data science, automation and personalized customer offerings are increasingly improving both operational efficiency and customer quality. “We are evolving into a digital bank centered around a financial SuperApp. We see customers using more and more different services within an ecosystem, creating a strong foundation for long-term growth,” Sild added.

The weight of iute Group’s newest business ideas continued to grow. Myiute has now been downloaded more than 1.75 million times, supporting iute’s role as a digital bank powered by a SuperApp for everyday financial life. iute Group also continued to accelerate digitalization and automation. During the quarter, the company deployed its first AI-powered sales assistants in Albania to support loan and insurance offers. Currently, the majority of after-sales offers are generated automatically without human intervention, while the number of requests for financial services is also increasing.

By the end of March, iute had 247,383 active customers across all countries where it operates. More than 101 thousand customers used payment services, while about 58.5 thousand customers had at least one active insurance policy. During the first quarter, the National Bank of Ukraine approved iuteBank to operate independently. The company is preparing to launch a fully digital retail bank in Ukraine in the first quarter of 2027.

iute Group is a digital banking group focused on everyday financial services in Southeast Europe. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Estonia, iute serves customers in Albania, Bulgaria, Moldova, North Macedonia and Ukraine. Through the Myiute app and its local operations, iute offers digital financial services including payments, banking, financing and insurance brokerage. iute Group finances its operations through equity, deposits and covered bonds listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange Regulated Market and the Main List of Nasdaq Baltic.
