Tarmo Sild leads fundraising efforts for critical equipment for Ukrainian soldiers.

In the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, solidarity, and support from around the world are crucial. Tarmo Sild, CEO of the iute Group, has taken a proactive stance in helping the defense of Ukraine. Under his leadership, iute has launched an in-house fundraising campaign to provide direct support to frontline units in Ukraine.

Sild emphasized the importance of supporting the Ukrainian military, saying, “If you want Ukraine to win the war, you have to support the military that is fighting.” Recognizing that victory for Ukraine means victory for all free Europe, Sild and his team in jute rallied together, raising an impressive €23,737 to buy much-needed night-surveillance drones for soldiers Ukrainian.

The initiative brought together 29 team members who participated in the campaign, demonstrating a collective commitment to stand in solidarity with Ukraine. The funds raised were used to purchase four-night surveillance drones, which were delivered along with 16 4×4 vehicles loaded with essential equipment, directly to Kyiv.

After the surrender, the Ukrainian soldiers, who had just returned from the front line, expressed their gratitude to the jute team. Sild shared the heartwarming experience, highlighting the profound impact of human connection and empathy in times of crisis. He emphasized the importance of direct support for those fighting on the front line, asserting that the soldiers in Ukraine are “really ourselves.”
