Luiza Gega secures the gold medal at the Winter Athletics Championships: another triumph for jute’s commitment to supporting sport.

Luiza Gega, our brand ambassador, won the Individual Winter Athletics Championship. This event not only showcased outstanding talent, but also highlighted the diverse and inclusive nature of sports in the country.

The Individual Winter Athletics Championship brought together athletes of different ages and qualifications, creating a dynamic and competitive atmosphere. With 20 disciplines and 320 athletes participating, the event was a proof of the growth of athletics in Albania. The importance of this competition goes beyond individual achievements: it symbolizes the unity and strength of the Albanian athletic community.

Luiza’s triumph is in the 3000 meters discipline, with an incredible time of 8 minutes and 55 seconds. But this was not the only record set during this competition: 25 other personal records were surpassed showing the continuous improvement and dedication present in the Albanian athletics scene.

This victory has a special significance for jute, as it also triumphs the support that the jute team has given in the promotion of sport and healthy living.
